State of the Art Bocce Courts

Our club is very fortunate. The Sun City Center Community Association has built the best bocce courts in this area. Our courts are made with Har-Tru clay which enables us to have a year-round professional surface to play bocce on.

Our courts are located behind the Community Hall, South Campus Sports Complex, located at 1910 South Pebble Beach Blvd, Sun City Center, FL 33573.

New Membership Application

We welcome all SCCCA residents to join our club. Bocce is a sport that can be enjoyed by all. It is a low-impact, easy sport to learn. Our club is a great way to meet new people and socialize. While we will offer optional league play and friendly competition opportunities, please know that the main goal for our club is to have FUN! Residents of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to join us!

As a club member, you have access to the club's bocce ball equipment and can participate in club sponsored events. The game is ideally played with 2, 4 or 8 members. If you are ready to join, you can download your application below. If you prefer, applications can be picked up at the bocce courts, located on the wall beside the Red Dropbox. Join by the end of 2025 -The current cost is $35.00, which pays your dues through the end of 2026. We do require all members to have a name badge which is free of charge through the end of 2025.

Join on or after January 1, 2026 - The cost is $25.00. Members will also have to pay $10 for a mandatory name badge.

Not sure if you want to join yet or want to give it a try first? Stop by our courts. Our members are a friendly group. If there is space available, you will most likely be invited to roll a few bocce balls. Feel free to talk to our members who will be happy to answer your questions. You can also email us at nabcscc@gmail.com, and we will set up a time for one of our bocce players to meet you at the courts to give you an overview of how the game is played.

History of the Nuovi Amici Bocce Ball Club

February 4, 2023 - A group of SCC residents came together at the Rollins Theatre to discuss bringing bocce to Sun City Center. There were over 90 members in attendance at the meeting!
March 3, 2023 - The Sun City Center Community Association Board of Directors approved and welcomed us as the community's newest club. The Nuovi Amici Bocce Ball Club was official!
March 30, 2023 - The Nuovi Amici Bocce Club held its first official gathering. Over 60 residents became the first members of the newly formed club.
March 31, 2023 - January 2025 - Members of the Nuovi Amici Bocce Ball Club worked together, exploring ways for our club to achieve the goal of having bocce ball courts built on SCCCA property. It was truly a group effort. Members collaborated with the SCCCA board and the management of SCC. Throughout this time, over 60 members maintained active club memberships. Without these committed members, we would not have been able to keep the movement alive.
January, 2025 - After much anticipation, a lot of hard work and a lot of patience, the SCCCA board were able to finally approve construction of the bocce ball courts to begin.
May, 2025 - Contracting equipment moved in and construction of the bocce ball courts began. It was exciting to watch our dream become a reality!
June 23, 2025 - The SCCCA hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony of the new bocce ball courts with many members of the Nuovi Amici Bocce Ball Club in attendance. At the time of the ribbon cutting, the club consisted of 62 members.
October 25, 2025 - The first casual league play became a reality.
November 17, 2025 - Club membership has grown to 185 members.
